Posting periods

Every posting — journal entries, bills, invoices, payments, receipts, shipments, and inventory transactions — is checked against the period that contains its date. A period has one of three statuses: Closing a period stops posting for accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory, and cash together. Reopening turns posting back on for all of them.

Reopen or unlock

On a Closed row, enter a reason and click Reopen Period. On a Locked row, enter a reason and click Unlock Period. adorabl records who did it and why.
