Accounts Receivable is adorabl’s billing and cash collection lane — from customer master data through invoicing, payment application, and dunning. Everything scopes to your active organization and posts to the Books subledger when documents are confirmed or posted.

What Accounts Receivable covers

Setup checklists live under Accounts Receivable setup (gear icon) in the app at /setup/receivables. See Receivables setup and Dunning rules.

End-to-end revenue flow

Not every sale follows every step — wholesale may skip the order and start at invoice; B2C may invoice from ship automatically.

Troubleshooting

New organizations: complete Receivables setup, add a customer, post a test invoice, and record an incoming payment.
Dashboard Open AR sums live posted invoice balances for the active org. Draft invoices are excluded. Drill into Invoices & Adjustments and filter status Open and Partial to reconcile.
Channel tags on orders are separate from cash deposits. After bank feed import, use Settlement reconciliation then Incoming payments.
